How to Replace a 250W Blender Base Gear and Shock Pad

Step 1: Gather the Necessary Tools Prepare a dish towel/rag/paper towel, basic flat pliers, and a flat-head screwdriver (flat and narrow).

Step 2: Remove the Old Gear Hold the blades using the towel, locate the gear at the back end, and use the pliers to grip the gear firmly. Apply even, solid pressure and turn the gear clockwise to loosen it, then identify the small screws.

Step 3: Install the New Gear Grip the blades again with the towel, and screw the new gear in counterclockwise using the pliers to ensure it is clamped down tightly.

Step 4: Remove the Base and Plastic Part Use the flat-head screwdriver to pry the base and plastic part out through the small notch on the bottom.

Step 5: Detach the Base Insert the screwdriver into the notch, use the pliers to slide the base out, and turn the base clockwise to remove it, exposing the thread.

Step 6: Attach the New Base Grip the base with the pliers on one side, and tighten it counterclockwise using the pliers to secure it.

Step 7: Reassemble the Blender Once the blade gear and rubber gear are properly installed, the blender should be in good working condition.
